One photograph, and it is ours.
We would rather show you one job we actually did than a gallery of somebody else's gardens. Below is Henley Gardeners' own photograph, published on the company's Google Business Profile — and, underneath it, the clients who described the work in their own words.

What we hold ourselves to
Three things that show up in every job.
The ground before the finish
Turf, paving and fencing all fail from underneath. The visible part of any project here takes a fraction of the time of the preparation below it — stripping, levelling, sub-base, falls, post depths — because that is what decides whether it is still right in ten winters.
Finished means swept
A job is not done when the last slab is down or the last roll of turf is unrolled. Pavements and driveways are swept, arisings are loaded, gates are shut, and everything that came out of the garden leaves with us and is disposed of responsibly.
To plan, and to schedule
Clients keep using the same two words: plan and schedule. Project work is quoted in writing, booked to a date and communicated through — which matters most when the garden has to be right for an event, a letting or a sale.

A note on this page
Sixteen years of work and one published photograph is not a fair reflection of the job, and we know it. Rather than pad this page out with pictures of gardens that are not ours, we have left it short and we are photographing properly from now on. If you would like to see something specific — a turfed lawn, a patio, a rebuilt fence line — ring and ask, and we will send what we have.
